Beyond New Horizons Coaching

I’m Martin Waller, a productivity advisor, coach and speaker.

I am passionate about helping to improve systems and have worked with a range of organisations across the globe. As a teacher, I know how people learn and can help form new ways of working with clients to improve productivity. As a senior leader and manager, I learned how people tick and how to instigate meaningful change.

What does Martin know?

As a person who works in the education sector, where ten minutes of poor productivity can make or break a day, I know what it’s like when you are under pressure to get things done. I have worked as a Senior Leader and Manager to help and coach others to work more effectively and smarter. I have also worked with various organisations to advise and consult on ways of working and improving output and achievement. And as a parent, I know the importance of developing boundaries.

In addition to working with different organisations I also have a range of qualifications which have helped me to further support clients.

  • BSc (Hons) in Education with Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Durham (First Class)
  • MA in New Literacy Studies from the University of Sheffield
  • National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership from the University of Newcastle and Accredited by the Department for Education.
  • Honorary Fellowship of the Chartered College of Teaching for significant contribution to the education sector and teaching profession.

How can Martin help?

I work with different clients from different sectors and on different tracks. Coaching is unique to you and it is tailored to what you want to achieve or improve. This ranges from (but not limited to): improving work/life balance through strategies to manage workload more effectively; using digital technologies and automation to make tasks easier and more manageable; developing healthier habits towards work and life; and improving teams through the use of digital technologies and online resources.

I work with a range of different people from all works of life, including (but not limited to):

  • Executives, Leaders and Managers who are looking to develop their teams and improve systems to reduce workload without reducing output and achievement.
  • Teachers, Medics, Police, Social Services and other professionals who are looking to improve their work/life balance through smarter approaches, which reduce pressure but don’t affect output.
  • Private Clients who want to reduce their mental load and work leaner while still getting everything done.

Most coaching sessions are conducted remotely via Google Meet, and I have a booking portal which allows you to select a time that works for you either on an evening or during the working day.

I have very limited capacity to take on new clients, but it is always worth getting in touch. I do charge for coaching as I do this as part of my freelance work.

I work with both private (self-funded) and service-level clients. The best way to find out more about the different types of coaching we can work on is to fill in the form below and tell me some of your desired aims and outcomes. I’ll then get back to you if I have the capacity, and we can book a planning call.
